Transportation is THE issue for District 15.

We are caught between the need for recently developed communities such as Clarksburg and Germantown to have access to adequate roads and traffic congestion relief, and the residents who live in the closer-in suburbs who don’t want to see a wider, more-travel I-270 and Beltway. 

Public transit needs to be extended to the upcounty.  Rapid bus transit is a good short-term solution, but I would like to see Metro extended beyond Shady Grove to Germantown. 

At the same time, pedestrian and traffic safety in our rapidly growing neighborhoods is something all residents want to talk about.
